Royal Thai Navy Museum

The new Royal Thai Navy Museum is a place that preserves and displays important objects including historical documents. Most of the displays consist of history, art, and culturally significant people connected with the Royal Thai Navy. H.R.H Admiral Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak regards the Prince as “The Father of the Royal Thai Navy.” A new exhibition hall is located in the main building which opens on to a garden outside near the monument of the father of the Royal Thai Navy. People can continuously connect the interior space of the exhibition and the outdoor space of the garden. The building’s curved form is similar to the shape of a battleship. Two other existing exhibition buildings had been built since the reign of King Rama V.
